Last Saturday I donned my new beret and caught up with old friends from back home which was lovely, and as you can imagine, this outfit became the butt of all french related jokes. For all of last Saturday, I was known only as Pierre.  

The beret was one of the top trends to come out of fashion month so all jokes aside, I knew my latest hat purchase was very much a sartorial decision - who am I to argue with the street stylers setting trends over the renowned fashion weeks eh!

Keeping to the Parisian theme I styled my beret with stripes - a completely obvious styling duo if you ask me.  Mixing up the patterns I popped on my favourite leopard print boots and finished the look off with my vintage fur coat. I was known as the cosy, french-inspired and print-clashing friend (nicknamed Pierre) at the baby shower I attended that day.
