My NYE party plans are all wrapped up and I am now left pondering that all important outfit question - what the hell do I wear...

It's all sparkle, glitter and shimmer out there this time of year which even though I love, I always struggle to find that perfect sequin dress or party-ready gold lurex halter. Why is that? Probably because my style conscious automatically drags me back to the classic LBD, it doesn't even happen on purpose, I'm just drawn to it.  So, this year when shopping for the ultimate party essential, I am going to try and put black to the back of my mind.
