East London Love

I moved to London nearly two years ago and haven't looked back. It's been by far the best life decision I have made to date.

A very bold statement coming from someone who usually makes VERY bad life decisions.

The only thing I really knew about London was Oxford Street Topshop and that I had a friend who lived in Balham. Neither helpful when moving to a crazy city with a limited budget and no area knowledge. Balham although lovely was WAY out of my price range and it would be the thing of dreams but I couldn't quite live in Topshop, could I.

So, with a new found set of friends from Spareroom.com, I headed East. And it turns out, how can I put it, East was a bit of me....

I regularly venture to awesome East London haunts and spend my weekends either sober, exploring trendy new spots and blog shooting or drunk and testing out the red wine or cocktail menu in cool new bars and pubs.  What a time to be alive, eh!

Last Sunday I found myself waking up with a fresh head and decided to make the most of it so I headed down to

Columbia Road Flower Market

and took a few snaps along the way...

Alongside the tourist snapping, I managed to shoot my outfit too. I went typically East London in head-to-toe black but lightened the mood with my navy

Brand Attic

coat which I am wearing to death as you can see

here.
