Last weekend saw myself and the girls embark on a little adventure down by the sea for a dear pal's birthday. We prayed for the sun and had planned a two-day beach sesh fueled by prosecco. 

There was zero sun, zero sunbathing and zero bikini wearing. However, there was plenty of prosecco so not all lost, eh.

I wore my new favourite dress from

 which is the perfect summer outfit, but as the sun was non-existent I paired it with a leather jacket and trainers.  I dream of the day I can style it out with some open-toe wedges and no coat...

All sarcasm aside it really is my new favourite dress, the material is gorgeous and the loose flowing fabric means you can overeat/over drink and no one needs to know. Now that's my kinda dress.
