Espresso martini love at Dead Dolls House

So, the hunt for the best espresso martini in London continues, and next up is

Dead Dolls House

in Islington. You'll find this cool bar on lively Upper Street, and whether you're in the market for a boozy brunch or a chilled coffee catch-up, then this is a London bar you must you add to your list.

We were welcomed by the lovely Joe and Monica and immediately ordered an espresso martini, obvs. I took my housemate Gabs along for the ride - you'll deffo know her if you follow me on

Insta

, as she's a heavy feature in most my stories. If you don't and now decide to follow me, then apologies in advance. We're off to

BPM festival in Portugal

next week so brace yourself for the Stories. Anyyyyyywayyyyy, I digress… Gabs and I quickly devoured the heavenly espresso martini, and let me tell you, it was far tastier than a certain rooftop London bar synonymous with cocktails, and, about £6 cheaper *ahem*

Dead Dolls House

is a 3-storey Victorian Townhouse which is a perfect space for hosting a private event, or if your diary this year is anything like mine, a good old 30

th

birthday celebration. We set up camp in their Parlour Bar which is situated on the ground floor. In between the moreish martinis, we enjoyed treats from their

brunch menu

, well I say treats, we went for the Superfood Salad and Cornbread Pancake, so they were pretty healthy treats - we had to cancel out all those cocktails somehow!

My quest for the best tasting espresso martini is going well so far, but don't worry, there is plenty more to come. This addiction needs feeding and I am happy to fuel it -

Dead Dolls House

got a massive tick from me!

Thank you to the fabulous Dead Dolls House for kick-starting the last Bank Holiday Sunday of the year in style. We certainly blamed you for our hangovers. But the espresso martinis were too delicious to stay away, so, we'll be back!
