The Joyful Chapter

Stepping into autumn with Ravel

I have absolutely NO idea how we are heading into our second week of September already. This is my birthday month, which sees me turn 31... THIRTY FUCKING ONE. I still feel 21 - how am I one year into my thirties already? I can't lie, my 30th year was pretty fabulous. I have travelled (

Thailand

,

New Zealand

and then Portugal in a few days time) I have settled into a new London home, making even more pals along the way, drunk even more espresso martinis and fallen in love with life and London just that bit harder. So, I can't complain. But still, man, THIRTY FUCKING ONE. Next on the list is to save some money for more travel and possibly, just possibly find myself a fella, IMAGINE, poor sod.

Annnyway, back to the realisation that we are storming through September. The weather might not be my cup of tea, but the fashion, oh the fashion certainly is. I am a big advocate for ankle boots, cosy knits, new denim, coats - need I go on? This swiftly takes me onto my new boots, how gorgeous are these floral beauties from

Ravel

? Perfectly high, beautifully embroidered and incredibly comfortable. They're the type of boots that will make an outfit, and in my eyes, are a great pairing with a light-wash denim. For something a little more dressier, I would style them with all black - frayed black jeans, a Bardot top and leather jacket vibes.

Have you guys started refreshing your wardrobe for autumn yet?
