The Joyful Chapter

This is my kind of way to spend a Sunday

For me, a perfect day is one where I feel my most productive. As much as I love a good night out the next day spent enveloped in the duvet fighting off a hangover from hell is a total waste of the weekend.

Last Sunday was SO my perfect kind of day: Culture, friends and a prosecco-fuelled lunch. We kicked off the morning with a visit to the Sydney State Library to see the latest

Word Press Exhibition

documenting the world's best photojournalism from 2017. It was heart-wrenching, thought provoking and eye opening - a great way to witness so many moments captured on film; from human impact on the world to contemporary issues, news, nature and sport.

With our hearts a little heavier and our minds more educated we mooched into Darlinghurst to hunt out a tasty meal and some even tastier prosecco. We settled with east village

, a laid-back bar with minimalist interiors, a versatile menu and a cool rooftop, its chilled vibes were just what we fancied and the food did not disappoint!

From an exhibition and slow strolls, to outfit snapping and  yummy food in trendy haunts - this was my kinda Sunday.

What does your perfect day look like?
