A denim dress, what’s not to love.

Last week I had a cheeky soiree in the H&M sale and stumbled upon this absolute beauty.

I nose-dived into the reduced rail and appeared with 5 floral dresses flung over my arms. However, I literally threw them all aside when my beady bargain eyes spotted this long-sleeve denim dress.

First things first, check the price tag - it was £60 reduced to £15 -WIN!

Next up, check the size, XS - hmmm never going to happen. But then I remembered H&M and their unreliable sizes, and thought, what the hell.

Lastly, survey the dress in its entirety… I’m in love.

I know when I know, and OH did I know. Obvs due to Rona, trying on was a no-go so I tightly crossed my fingers and toes with the hope that it would fit once home and headed straight to the tills.

The cashier greeted me warmly - HELLO CUSTOMERS! And then proceeded to ask for my membership card. I always forget about it but once I’d signed in, she said I had a whole £3 on there and would I like to redeem. Why the hell not! Those sweet little pounds off made this dress a mere £12. I swiped and hopped out of the store, still with everything crossed that this stylish bargain would fit.

And boy did it fit. I mean, I’m not an XS at all so I was right to trust my gut when it came to the weird high street sizing chart. And just look at her! What a dream. I cannot wait for the cool autumn months where I shall wear and love her (forever, of course, it’s denim!)

So not surprisingly this dress is sold out online, it could well be in stores though so if you love it, keep your eyes peeled.

I have, however, picked out a few other denim dresses that I am loving lately…
