Nothing beats a white dress for summer and my usual go-to destination for most of my wardrobe essentials, is H&M. This summer was no different.

My all time favourite outfit choice in terms of comfort, time efficiency and style is and always will be a dress, leather jacket and trainer combo. TBH, I am probably not alone in my thoughts there!

Back when it was a lot warmer, I picked up this floaty linen dress in the sale £20, and it’s quickly become a wardrobe staple; the soft navy vertical stripe gives it a real summer holiday feel. My trusty Veja trainers for comfort and an old leather jacket to take off the the evening chill, add some gold jewellery and you quite frankly can’t go wrong.

I am wondering if we have a few more chances to wear lighter layers? There’s talks of a September heatwave (the same chat just a different year, right?) which I wouldn’t mind. Although my shopping baskets are well and truly gearing towards autumn! And I have to say, I am rather excited to embrace a new season.

September brings a lot of exciting things for me… our wedding, a move into a new house and my 35th birthday! Stay tuned.
