South Oxfordshire farm and coffee shop: Blue Tin Produce
Looking for somewhere to grab a coffee in Wallingford? If you’re after something a bit different then look no further. Blue Tin Produce is award winning farm shop in Ipsden a small village situated in the South Oxfordshire countryside…
Since moving to the South Oxfordshire countryside 18 months ago, I am always on the hunt for new local spots to explore, especially when they serve coffee! Mines an oat flat white, please.
I came across Blue Tin Produce on a recent Instagram scroll and instantly added it to my must visit list when I realised how close by it was.
My quieter countryside lifestyle certainly looks different to my London life, I have become obsessed with local farm shops regularly choosing them for my vegetable top ups over the bigger supermarket chains.
I also love it when they do more than just food, one of life’s simple pleasures is enjoying a good coffee in a lovely spot so a couple of weekends ago I did exactly that.
My sister, niece and her husband visited recently so I took the opportunity to finally pay this South Oxfordshire spot a visit and it was a great place to kickstart the day.
Full of rustic charm, a well stocked farm shop, kitchen garden, plenty of farmyard animals and good coffee and cake, my only problem is that they’re not open Sundays!
It’s definitely a spot I’ll be heading to one Saturday morning with my husband and dog for our morning coffee and walk. If you’re a local South Oxfordshire resident and looking for a spot to grab a coffee before starting your countryside walk, then this award winning small family-run free range farm based in Ipsden, is a great place to check out.
They also have plenty of events on so I’ll be keeping my eyes on their Instagram account for what’s on their summer schedule!
