Aussie brunchin' in London

A few weekends back we had a friend come to stay giving us a good excuse to get out and about in our beloved E5 postcode. The weather was a dream so we had a girlie mooch around

Broadway Market

, sipping on coffee and people watching before enjoying the tastiest brunch ever in Shoreditch-based cafe,

Lantana

Lantana

was opened by a group of Aussies back in 2008 with the aim to bring the brunch culture (a huge big part of the Australian lifestyle) to London, and my god, do the Aussies do a good brunch. I ordered the corn fritters and they were scrumptious. They came accompanied with a crispy bacon, avocado, spinach, tomatoes and garnished with creme fraiche, I also ordered some chilli jam on the side too. I don't think the three of us spoke the entire time whilst our food was on the table - just a lot of 'yumms' and 'mmmmms' could be heard.

Lantana

you did good, not only did you serve up a seriously delectable brunch, but you managed to shut up three major chatterboxes too.
