Outfit idea: Vintage blazer and tracksuit

Working from home most days has meant my outfits have taken a rather casual turn of late. And when I say casual, I mean old pyjama casual. It’s not a good look. I sometimes wonder if dressing down so much hinders my productivity levels. I’m hardly dressing to take on the day.

Some days I’ll go and and work in Mare Street Market which means I’ll actually don an outfit that doesn’t involve a dressing gown. However, I’ve got a bit used to that loose waistband life so jeans often feel a little restricting.

Enter, the matchy tracksuit and blazer combo…

In a bid to look a little more presentable when working from home I popped on to Boohoo (not my usual shopping destination, ya’ll know I’m high street and vintage vibes) to peruse their range of trackies. If I’m just walking from desk to fridge then I didn’t fancy spending a fortune on new garms, you see. I just wanted to look a little more put together, especially when Matt comes home from work - I swear that fella is sick of the sight of my bloody dressing gown.

I came across a few matching two-piece tracksuits which I really digged. I bought 2, a khaki and a black one. The black one was shocking quality and a terrible fit (didn’t surprise me TBF) but the khaki one was an absolute touch. Quality was actually fairly good and the fit was perfect. I have worn it copious amount of times and with each wear receive comments asking where it was from.

Bosh, working-from-home gear sorted. At least when Matt walks in after work I now look a little less lazy!
