Autumn outfits: zara striped jumper to kickstart the new season
This Zara striped jumper is a new season purchase that I absolutely love! Autumn style has to be one of my favourites and as the transition to colder days slowly creeps in, I am obsessed with all things cosy.
A couple of weekends back we celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary! It was a lovely weekend where we escaped to the Cotswolds with our little dog.
We stayed in The Wheatsheaf Inn in the quaint village of Northleach. This historic coaching inn was beautiful; from the rustic country interiors to the sensational dining menu and the giant and oh-so-comfy king-size bed - it was the countryside, dog-friendly staycay of dreams!
The weather lately has been blue skies and crisp fresh sunshine, it’s been lovely. Wearing a cosy layer but without the need of a coat is means it’s time to show off the knitwear. Head-to-toe cream felt stylish, yet this look was actually super comfy thanks to the slouch in the Zara striped jumper and of course, the wear-with-anything New Balance 530 trainers.
The skirt is a bargain buy from Principles via Debenhams, cream isn’t a colour choice I go for often but after this combo, I’m totally converted. So if you’re wondering how to wear a striped or cream sweater, then try it with the same shade bottom for an elevated look.
I’ve also got to talk about the Coach Black Skyler Hobo Bag, I found this beauty on TK.MAXX reduced from $495 to £150. I can’t find it anywhere online but believe it’s a couple of years old now so definitely discontinued. It goes with everything. I love the cross body and shoulder strap options, it’s a timeless addition to my bag collection. The gold hoops I’m wearing were also from TK.MAXX - little bit obsessed with what they have on offer RN!
Our weekend was spent eating in the pub we were staying at and walking our pup through the gorgeous local villages of Northleach and Bourton-on-the-Water - this cream ensemble and my Zara striped jumper was a fave look from the trip.
What autumn outfits have you been buying for the new season?
A few snaps from our lovely Cotswolds staycation, this was the pub we stayed in and I can’t recommend it enough. Not many shots though, we kept it light on camera and just enjoyed each other company, it was a bloody perfect way to celebrate being 1 year married.
It seems to be that the Zara striped jumper is either low on stock or out of stock, so I thought I’d share some other Breton jumpers to check out along with the outfit.
