The throw-on summer dress I'll be wearing forever
OK, I know it sounds like I say this ALL the time. But, this really is the best charity shop purchase ever…
I always head straight for the dress section whenever I stumble across a charity shop. Dresses or coats - I make a beeline for them.
This is a Monsoon gingham dress and oh myyy, I’d 100% buy it full price. Monsoon wouldn’t usually be my first port of call for shopping but the quality, weight, and overall fit of this dress is an absolute winner. I adore the length too.
Longer than midi but not quite maxi; it falls in just the right spot for me. There’s something about that length that feels more ‘expensive’ - is that strange? I dunno, it kinda makes sense to me.
It’s also a size 12 so does fall a bit looser on me which I LOVE. I never care too much about sizes when I’m rummaging through charity shops.
This *leather jacket is a winner too. A real investment piece that I’ve had for over a year and I truly know will last a sartorial lifetime.
How good is a leather jacket and dress combo though! It’s my favourite go-to outfit of all time. ..
