This Marks and Spencer Jacket is a staple I'll return to year after year

I love my new Marks and Spencer jacket; I can confirm this high street giant is really delivering the goods for A/W and whether it's cosy loungewear or great winter jackets, I'm obsessed!

For me, M&S has always been the place to go for tasty food, bottles of bubbly and good undies, but in recent years I've begun to buy more and more from them, and I'm here for it! I actually spotted this Marks and Spencer jacket in store a few weeks back and instantly drooled. It hovered at the back of my mind until I decided to order it online and welcome it to my new season jacket collection.

The quality is so good and the faux fur trim is super soft. But above all, it's comfortable, and the regular fit looks great with anything. So far I've teamed it with jeans, layered it over jumpers and dresses (case in point) and thrown it on with leggings and baggy t-shirts. One might say, it's very versatile.

These shots were taken in my garden, just me and a tripod - it felt like the old blogging days! I was heading out for the day and felt rather autumnal so wanted to capture it. When you like your outfit you feel good, right? And I go that one step further and snap it too!

My red dress is vintage, I picked it up at a flea market a couple of years back and every time I wear it, it makes me want to own more red pieces of clothing. The Ganni jumper was a birthday present from Matt and I adore it. I saw it on a girl walking down Henley high street and commented on how great I thought she looked. To my amazement, he had remembered that very moment and voila, I was one happy lady on my 35th birthday this year.

I need to add some big collar action to my wardrobe, so currently on the hunt for some new blouses. I love that look when a huge fancy collar flounces out from underneath knitwear.

Anyway, back to the Marks and Spencer jacket, I bought the black mix but it also comes in chocolate which although I don’t tend to wear much brown, I think it’s such a rich and warming shade. It’s £69 which for such a brilliant autumn/winter staple is a great price - the aviator style feels like a bit of a classic which is why I know it will work way past the winter of 2021. I went for a size 10 which fits true to size (I must admit I do love the M&S sizing - it always feels pretty accurate) and it’s roomy enough to wear a knitted layer underneath. The pockets are great; I am a big fan of a big pocket as these days I need to carry all the dog walking paraphernalia easily!

Finished off with some chunky ASOS boots (which are so comfy but annoyingly out of stock now!) I kept my legs bare as we’re still experiencing a few sunny days at the moment, so milking it while I can. Sticking with the red theme I tied my hair into a messy bun with an old scrunchie (I bloody love a scrunchie) and of course wore a pair of gold hoops.

Wishing you a lovely weekend, I’m laying low and attempting some SEO courses as well as cracking on with life and house admin. If any of you know of any good courses to help expand SEO knowledge then please let me know! Hope you like the outfit, have you bought anything from Marks and Spencer lately?
